Basic Performance Of Heavy-duty Connectors
The insertion force and mechanical life of 24 pin heavy duty connector are related to the coating quality (coefficient of sliding friction) of the contact component structure (positive pressure dimension) and the dimensional accuracy (alignment) of the contact components.
The electrical properties of 4 pin heavy duty connector mainly include circuit resistance, insulation resistance, current, and dielectric strength.
Circuit resistance: A high-quality 6 pin heavy duty connector should have low and stable circuit resistance. Circuit resistance ranges from a few milliohms to tens of milliohms.
Insulation resistance: An indicator of the insulation performance between the contacts of connector heavy duty and the housing of heavy duty 2 pin connector, ranging in magnitude from hundreds of megohms to 1000 megohms.
Resistance strength or resistance voltage: Indicates the rated test voltage between the contacts or between the contacts and the housing of the heavy duty connector 16 pin, based on the gap between circuits (i.e., contact gap creepage distance) and the insulating material used in the heavy duty connector 5 pin.
