Copper Terminal Block Wiring Method
copper terminal block is used to facilitate the connection of wires. They can be disconnected at any time without welding or winding, which is very convenient and fast. How to connect the copper distribution block wire if it is broken?
There are five main steps. First, strip the insulation layer of the wire by 6-8mm, insert the exposed wire into the terminal, and then tighten the top screw with a screwdriver. After tightening, remember to pull it a few times by hand to see if it is really tightened and whether it will fall off. After confirming that it will not fall off, press the switch. As long as the light is on, it means that it is connected.
When wiring, remember to pay attention to the following points:
1. When installing the terminal block, do not disassemble the terminal block in the live circuit, otherwise it will cause danger due to sparks, etc. , Otherwise, it will cause poor performance.
2. When the terminal line is installed with dew or rain, it may cause poor insulation between circuits. Appropriate protective measures should be taken.
3. When the terminal line is installed and used, please do not branch the current exceeding the rated value to multiple circuits for powering on, which will cause accelerated aging of performance and cause abnormalities.
4. Tighten the wiring moderately to prevent the bolts and nuts from slipping due to excessive force. If you find any slipped bolts and nuts, replace them in time.
5. During the installation process, hangers should be set at the corners of the pipeline to fix the wire pipe.
Soft terminal wires and hard terminal wires are commonly used terminal wire products. What is the difference between the two? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using soft terminal wires and hard terminal wires?
Hard wiring is usually called single-strand copper wire. Compared with multi-strand, it has higher hardness, greater mechanical strength, smaller surface area, less oxidation, and longer service life. Resistant to short-circuit current and easy to shape. The disadvantage is poor flexibility. If it is protected by pipe penetration, it will be much more difficult than soft wire, and the joint will be more difficult.
copper terminal strip wire is generally composed of multi-strand copper wire glue, which is softer than single-strand copper wire, has a large surface area, and is easy to oxidize. If the connection is not good, it is easy to burn out, short-circuit current is not resistant, and it is difficult to maintain a fixed shape. However, its advantages are obvious. It is easier to wear pipe protection and the heat dissipation effect is better than hard wire.
From the perspective of convenience, the hard wire can be pulled out of the wire tube smoothly, although it is more difficult to remove and replace the wire. If necessary, a new wire can be used to replace the stainless steel wire and pulled in together. However, the soft wire is very easy to break after it becomes brittle, and it is very likely that the soft wire was accidentally torn when it was replaced.
