Four Connection Forms Of Industrial Connectors
1. Threaded connection:
Some large contactors and heavy duty electrical connectors that work in a strong vibration environment are often used as a connection form. In this connection form, a fuse can be installed after the connection is completed to prevent loosening. The connection form is reliable, but the disadvantage is that the connection and unloading speed is slow.
2. Bayonet connection:
Bayonet connection is a reliable and fast connection and separation form. Most industrial heavy duty power connectors in the form of snaps have a correct visual display of connection and locking, which can be observed from the small hole on the side of the connection nut of heavy duty connector 24 pin
3. Plug connection:
It is a versatile connection form. When the plugs and sockets of 16 pin heavy duty connector are connected and separated, their movement direction is usually reciprocating linear motion, and only a small working space is required to complete the connection and unloading, without twisting and rotating. Common plug-in connections have two structures: ball type and pin type. Because there is no mechanical labor-saving mechanism, once mis-inserted, the mechanical resistance will increase significantly, and the problem will be discovered in time.
4. Cabinet connection method:
Cabinet connection type is used as 24 pin heavy duty connector on some equipment that needs blind connection close to the frame, which can make electrical equipment lighter, smaller, easier to maintain and more reliable. This connection allows the operator to feel the connection, so an accurate positioning device needs to be designed to avoid the wrong insertion of 4 pin heavy duty connector forced to connect together, making wrong insertion impossible. The 6 pin heavy duty connector of the cabinet usually adopts a floating or elastic contact design structure to ensure that the connector heavy duty is correctly connected.
