Heavy Duty Connector Applications
Heavy Duty Connector Application
Introduction
Heavy-duty connectors are widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, vehicles and other fields. With the development of mechanical processing technology and the upgrading of processing equipment, the performance requirements of connectors in some applications are getting higher and higher, such as the safety performance requirements of automobiles, the reliability requirements of precision instruments and other equipment, etc. Since the connector and the device are closely connected, the connector must have a sufficiently high mechanical strength, so the connector often has the characteristics of large load and high speed. Heavy-duty connectors have been widely used in various industrial fields.
There are many heavy-duty connectors, which can be divided into copper welding, aluminum welding, steel welding, etc. in terms of materials; fixed, rotating, clamping and hanging in terms of structure; terminal connection, threaded connection and bayonet connection in terms of connection method.
Copper welding
Copper welding is a common metal welding method, which is used in many occasions, such as electronic equipment, automobile manufacturing and machinery manufacturing. In these fields, connectors usually need to be welded with devices. Usually, two different types of metal electrodes or workpieces need to be contacted before welding, and then welding can be carried out.
Aluminum welding
Aluminum welding is a new welding method that uses the metal properties of aluminum alloys to weld. Compared with copper welding, aluminum welding has higher heat resistance and smaller volume. Aluminum welding can be used in many occasions, such as aerospace and automobile manufacturing.
Steel welding
Steel welding is a more complicated welding method. Usually, the connector needs to be connected to devices of different types and materials before welding. Steel welding is often used in machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, aerospace and other fields.
Bayonet connection
Bayonet connection is a commonly used connection method, which can be used in many occasions.
