Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 4

1. Test Objective:

Describe in detail the standard method for heavy duty connector 24 pin and the required insertion and extraction forces between the protective sleeve and 16 pin heavy duty connector.

2. Preparation Before Testing:

24 pin heavy duty connector consists of a plug and socket with one end accessible, and 4 pin heavy duty connector must match. Unless otherwise specified. 6 pin heavy duty connector should consist of all available hardware, including a rubber core, terminals, metal casing, protective cover, screws, or guide rails;

② Auxiliary fixtures and inspection fixtures.

3. Test Method:

① Insertion Force Test.

Place two interlocking connector heavy duty plugs in the initial position of the mechanical insertion, with the force gauge and torque meter readings both at zero. The progressive force ratio specified in the specification is matched with the insertion force heavy duty 2 pin connector, and the peak insertion force is recorded.

② Extraction Force.

According to the instructions, gradually increase the force to pull out the air plug inserted in the opposite direction and record the extraction force.

4. Notes:

① During the test, the tension gauge's scale should be positioned appropriately on the connector so that the reading pointer is in the center of the instrument. This allows for 2% adjustment of the instrument's position.

② Unless otherwise specified in the manual, the sample requires no lubrication or cleaning.
