The heavy duty connector 24 pin insulator consists of a pin insulator, a socket insulator, an interface seal, and a wire seal. The functions of the 16 pin heavy duty connector insulator components are as follows:

The pin insulator and socket insulator maintain the 24 pin heavy duty connector pins/sockets in their designated positions and provide electrical insulation between the individual contacts and between the contacts and the housing.

The interface seal and wire seal achieve a sealing effect by adding an interface to the 4 pin heavy duty connector insulator, improving the environmental resistance of the 6 pin heavy duty connector.

To ensure high/low temperature resistance, flame retardancy, and stable and reliable part geometry, the connector heavy duty insulator is primarily molded from thermosetting plastic, while the interface seal and wire seal are molded from silicone rubber.
