How Can We Ensure That The Cold-pressed Pins Crimped By The Cold-pressed Pin Crimper Meet The Requirements?
Before assembly, the dimensions, plating, material hardness, tensile strength, and other indicators of the cold-pressed pin must be verified to match the contact crimper mold and cable terminal structure. During the crimping process, parameters such as equipment stroke, mold closing force, crimping height, and residual stress must be consistent with the specifications of the cold-pressed pin. After the d sub contact crimper crimping is completed, the insertion depth, deformation area, residual gap, and end face condition of the cold-pressed pin should be confirmed by visual inspection and instrumental testing. If the cold-pressed pin is found to be misaligned, delaminated, cracked, or has a tensile strength weaker than the standard, the cold-pressed pin must be replaced or the contact crimping tool settings adjusted.
