How To Prevent The Insulating Film Of The Contact Points Of Heavy-duty Connectors From Being Punctured?
As the film thickness increases, the resistance of heavy duty connector 16 pin increases rapidly, making the film a poor conductor. However, this film can mechanically break down to heavy duty connector 5 pin under high contact pressure, or electrically break down to heavy duty connector 6 pin under high voltage and high current. For some small-sized heavy duty electrical contacts, the contact pressure is relatively low, and for heavy duty industrial connector applications, it is only mA and mV, so the film resistance is not easily broken down, which may affect the transmission of electrical signals to heavy duty male female connector. To prevent the insulating film on the contact piece of heavy duty multi pin connectors from breaking down, the DC or AC peak value of the open-circuit electromotive force of the test circuit should not exceed 20mV, and the DC or AC test current should not exceed 100mA. This is actually a low-level contact resistance testing method.
