Portable Procedure For Perforating And Connecting Cold-pressed Needles Using Specialized Tools
For crimp contact male through-hole connections, only simple specialized tools are needed, allowing for one-step completion of wire positioning, pin alignment, and crimping.
First, strip the wire to the appropriate length and insert pin crimp socket contact into the pin socket of the terminal or connector. Then, using crimping pliers or a manual crimper that conforms to pin female crimp contact specifications, apply force to the pin position, causing pin male crimp contact to penetrate or crimp between the wire core and the terminal metal. A crisp "click" sound will be heard when releasing the tool, indicating that the crimp contact connection has been formed. Finally, place the crimped connector into an insulating sleeve or protective sleeve to proceed to the next step.
