Pollution level 4: Persistent pollution caused by heavy duty connector 6 pin conductive dust or rain and snow. For example: heavy duty electrical contacts on the chassis or roof of electric vehicles, rail vehicles, trailers, and equipment on underground electric vehicles.

Additional note: heavy duty industrial connector, which should be used under heavy duty male female connector overvoltage level 1 and pollution level 1 conditions, should have its voltage value reduced accordingly when used under other conditions (high pollution level and high overvoltage level). There will be no problems when using it under this lower maximum voltage condition.

Note: Parts of heavy duty multi pin connectors that are sufficiently sealed (protection level not less than IP54) will have a very low pollution level. Similarly, for the detachable parts of heavy connector, the shell of heavy duty cable connectors will also have a very low pollution level when it is inserted again. Therefore, these parts should only be opened for inspection and maintenance.
