Termination Of Soldered Heavy-duty Connectors
The wiring method of 12v heavy duty connector, professionally known as termination method, refers to the connection method between the contact surface of heavy duty crimp connectors and the cable/wire. Equipment designers and heavy duty waterproof electrical connectors users will design or select appropriate termination methods based on the usage scenario and working conditions to meet the diverse requirements of reliability, stability, and convenience of electrical connections.
So what are the main termination methods for heavy duty connector devices? What are their characteristics?
Soldering
Soldering is the most common soldering method for heavy duty electrical connectors devices. Soldering connections use solder to weld the heavy duty power connectors and cable. During soldering, avoid incomplete soldering and weak welds; also pay attention to the soldering time, which should not exceed 3 seconds to prevent insulation burn-out. The soldered wiring cannot be disassembled because the wires and heavy duty connector 24 pin are soldered together, forming a permanent connection.
