The Most Common Trick In Copper Terminal Blocks: Using Brass To Impersonate Copper.
In some mass-produced copper terminal block sets, manufacturers might label copper distribution block made of brass as "pure copper" to reduce material costs, misleading users into believing they are buying highly conductive pure copper products. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and its mechanical strength and wear resistance are superior to pure copper.
In contrast, pure copper, also known as industrial pure copper, has significantly better conductivity and ductility. Using copper terminal strip brass as pure copper may not achieve the expected performance in terms of current conduction and heat transfer.
