The second digit after IP: waterproof level
The second digit indicates the degree of waterproofness of the distribution terminal block device.It represents the level of water ingress prevention of din rail power distribution, and the highest level is 8:
Level 1, protection against water drops. Vertically falling water drops (such as condensed water) will not cause damage.
Level 2, when tilted at 15 degrees, din rail power distribution block can still prevent water droplets from entering. When tilted from vertical to 15 degrees, dripping water will not cause damage.
Level 3, 4 pole distribution block prevents water from spraying. Prevents rain or water sprayed in a direction with an angle of less than 60 degrees from vertical from invading and causing damage.
Level 4, prevents splashing water from invading. Prevents water splashing from all directions from invading and causing damage.
Level 5, prevents water from jetting. Prevents water from invading from nozzles from all directions and causing damage.
Level 6, protection against large waves. It can prevent damage caused by large waves.
Level 7, prevent water from entering when immersed in water. If immersed in water for a certain period of time or the water pressure is below a certain standard, it can ensure that there is no damage caused by immersion.
Level 8, prevent water from entering when sinking. If it is submerged for a long time under a specified water pressure, it can ensure that there is no damage caused by immersion.
