Why Are There So Many Problems With Copper Terminal Blocks?
In the design and manufacturing of electrical systems, copper terminal block, as a common connecting component, plays a crucial role in conducting current and organizing cables. However, actual use and production feedback show that these components often suffer from various hidden problems, affecting not only assembly efficiency but also having a cascading impact on equipment performance.
Poor contact between the copper distribution block connector and terminals is a frequently mentioned issue. This is particularly noticeable when the terminal surface is oxidized or the connection area is contaminated, leading to unstable current transmission and even overheating. Prolonged operation in humid environments also exacerbates corrosion of the terminal metal surface, further degrading contact performance.
The insulation performance of copper terminal strip is also a common focus. Aging, moisture absorption, or the introduction of impurities into the insulation material reduces its insulating effect, leading to risks such as leakage or short circuits. These problems are often more easily exposed in high-temperature or dusty environments.
