Why Is Lszh (lsoh) Low-smoke Halogen-free Material Generally Used As The Insulation Material For Standard Copper Terminal Blocks?
Standard copper terminal block insulation materials typically use LSZH (LSOH) low-smoke halogen-free materials. These materials significantly reduce smoke release when exposed to fire or high temperatures and do not produce corrosive gases such as hydrogen chloride or hydrochloric acid.
For copper distribution block, using LSZH materials as insulation coverings or shells can reduce the hazards to personnel and equipment from combustion products in extreme conditions.
Compared to traditional halogen-containing materials, LSZH performs better in terms of releasing toxic gases and smoke; therefore, copper terminal strip commonly chooses this type of material to meet high safety requirements.
