The following procedure outlines one recommended method for assembling the heavy duty automotive electrical connectors to the socket:
Position the heavy duty 12v connectors plug in the correct position relative to the socket by aligning the key of one heavy duty 12 volt connectors part with the spigot or keyway of the other 12v heavy duty connector part.
Insert the heavy duty crimp connectors plug into the socket with slight forward pressure and the connecting ring and socket's heavy duty waterproof electrical connectors threads inserted.
Alternately push in the heavy duty connector plug and tighten the connecting ring until the heavy duty electrical connectors plug is fully seated.
