Heavy-duty Connector Installation Precautions
If the space around the heavy duty power connectors is too small to get a good finger grip, use heavy duty connector 24 pin pliers to tighten the coupling ring, changing to one-sixteenth to one-eighth turn by finger tightening force.
Never force mate a 16 pin heavy duty connector to a socket.
Do not hammer a 24 pin heavy duty connector plug into a 4 pin heavy duty connector socket, and do not use a pressurized wrench or pliers to lock the coupling ring.
6 pin heavy duty connector is usually removed from the socket in the following manner:
Use pliers to loosen a coupling ring that is too tight to loosen by hand.
Alternately pull on the plug body and then loosen the coupling ring until the connector heavy duty is separated.
Protect the inserted plug and socket with padding or plastic bags to prevent debris from entering and causing malfunctions.
Do not use excessive force and do not pull on the connected wires.
