Copper Terminal Block Background Technology

A large number of instruments, meters, and other equipment require electrical connections, therefore, these instruments and meters are often equipped with a large number of terminal blocks.  These terminal blocks, when combined, are referred to as copper terminal block. Currently, the wiring of power meters copper distribution block typically consists of copper terminals and terminal blocks (made of insulating plastic material), assembled through an interference fit between the copper terminals and the holes in the terminal blocks. Using an interference fit places higher demands on the dimensions and tolerances of the terminal blocks and copper terminals. Due to mass production, many products often fail to meet the required dimensional specifications, making assembly difficult and causing the copper terminals to easily loosen and retract inward within the terminal blocks. Furthermore, since the copper terminals mostly use a cylindrical structure, a large amount of copper material is required, and it is not possible to achieve different wiring configurations (such as three-phase four-wire or three-phase three-wire) through flexible assembly combinations.
