Overview

Heavy-duty connectors are mainly used for electrical or signal connections between different devices or functional units, which provides great convenience for the installation and maintenance of complex control equipment.
Heavy-duty connectors are widely used in construction machinery, textile machinery, packaging and printing machinery, tobacco machinery, electric locomotives and petrochemical power, etc., where electrical and signal connections are required. At present, it has become an internationally accepted standard electrical connection component.

Connectors
The basic structural parts of heavy-duty connectors are: I. Connectors II. Protective mounting housing III. Connector accessories.
The connectors are made of materials with a flame retardant grade of VO, which complies with UL94 VO, and the maximum operating temperature that can usually be used is 125.

However, after special treatment with PPS, it can withstand an external temperature of up to 180 degrees Celsius. The wiring methods used by the conductive terminals of different connectors are roughly:

Screw crimping, cold-pressed pin wiring, spring crimping, rolled leather pin wiring, axial bolt crimping, quick crimping, etc.

Connector Hood/Housing
The protective installation housing is usually made of cast aluminum, and the surface of the housing is treated with powder coating or self-extinguishing thermoplastic material (special series), which makes it resistant to impact or mechanical pressure. The seal between the housings can also make the protection level of the connector housing reach IP65 (EN60529).

The accessories include various cable connectors and different housing forms. The various accessories provide a variety of different solutions for different installation requirements. Spring clip crimping form,

Crimping needle wiring, axial bolt crimping, quick crimping form, etc.
