Impurities In Gold Plating Materials And The Current Density Of Gold Plating In Heavy-duty Connectors
The color of the gold plating layer in heavy duty electrical contacts is inconsistent with the normal gold plating layer, or the gold plating layer in different parts of heavy duty industrial connector has different colors.
When the impurities introduced by the chemicals added to the plating solution exceed the allowable range, it will quickly affect the color and brightness of the gold plating layer in heavy duty male female connector. If affected by organic impurities, the gold plating layer in heavy duty multi pin connectors will also appear blackened and frosted, and the location of blackening and frosting on the Hall cell sample is not fixed. If it is interference from metallic impurities, the effective range of the current density in heavy connector will be narrowed. Tests showed that the sample did not light up at either the low or high end of the heavy duty cable connectors current density test, and the low end could not be electroplated. This reflects that the plating layer in the plated area in heavy power connector is reddish or even blackened, and the color change inside the hole in heavy duty wire connectors is more obvious.
