Precautions For Heavy-duty Connectors During Mating And Unmating Operations
During insertion and removal:
-
Before insertion, verify that the plug and socket codes, interfaces, etc., correspond and are accurately positioned;
-
During the pushing or screwing process of heavy duty connector 6 pin, align the mating surfaces of the plug and socket parallel to each other, then push or screw in along the axis until fully engaged and locked. If significant resistance or jamming occurs, stop operation and remove the plug to check for faults at the mating point;
-
When tightening heavy duty electrical contacts, the cable protruding from the back cover must be securely fastened and not rotated;
-
For heavy duty industrial connector using heavy cables, the cable should be secured in practical applications to prevent sagging that could prevent heavy duty male female connector from being removed or cause damage;
-
After insertion and locking of heavy duty multi pin connectors, the cable exiting the back cover should be kept in a naturally extended state. The starting point of the cable bend should generally be at least 30mm away from the back cover exit;
-
When inserting or removing heavy connector, hold the main body for insertion and removal; do not grasp the cable outside the back cover during operation.
Through the above introduction, you should now have a better understanding of the precautions to take when using heavy duty cable connectors.
