Stability Analysis Of Push-button Terminal Connectors

Publish Time: Author: Site Editor Visit: 4

The push fit terminal block connector relies on an internal metal spring and contact mechanism to form the contact between the wire and the terminal. When the wire is inserted into the terminal hole, the spring immediately applies uniform pressure, firmly clamping the wire between the metal contacts. The elastic design of the metal spring ensures that the contact pressure remains constant and does not significantly decrease due to vibration, temperature changes, or long-term use.

Multiple tests under vibration and temperature cycling environments show that the push connector block contact resistance changes very little over time. Even under conditions of mechanical vibration or thermal expansion and contraction, it is not prone to loosening or poor contact.

The internal sealing and spring clamping mechanism effectively suppresses oxidation and fretting, meaning that the electrical connection can maintain low impedance and stable conductivity over a long period.
