In the context of the "dual carbon" era, China's energy storage connector industry has ushered in a highlight moment, and a new trillion-level track has been born.
In the past year, favorable policies for the battery storage connector industry have frequently emerged, and the installed capacity of projects has increased significantly. On April 26, 2022, the "Energy Storage Industry Research White Paper 2022" showed that in 2021, the installed capacity of China's newly commissioned power storage connector projects exceeded 10GW, a year-on-year increase of 231%.
"According to Everbright Securities' forecast, by 2030, my country's energy storage investment market space will grow to about 1.3 trillion."
The reporter noted that the price mechanism and safety issues that have been plaguing the large-scale development of energy storage have yet to be resolved, and the industry is also facing supply chain shortages and price increases.
Chen Haisheng, director of the Energy Storage Committee of the China Energy Research Society and chairman of the Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, said that under the situation of rapid development of global energy storage, the energy storage industry should think calmly and pay attention to some risks, including supply chain risks, price mechanism issues and safety risks.
